A review meeting on various health activities of the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Mokokchung, was held under the chairmanship of Ajit Kumar Verma, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, at the DC Conference Room.
Welcoming the members, Ajit Kumar Verma stated that the meeting aimed to review ongoing health activities and encourage better performance across the district. He emphasized the need for convergence between vertical programmes and allied departments to improve community health services. He also lauded the members for their dedication and hard work in delivering welfare services to the community.
Dr. Sentizungla Marina Yaden, Chief Medical Officer, Mokokchung, presented an overview of district challenges and issues requiring immediate attention.
All programme officers under the Department of Health and Family Welfare presented their reports through PowerPoint presentations, highlighting activities conducted, ongoing initiatives, challenges faced, and suggestions for improving overall performance in the district’s health sector.
The meeting concluded with a renewed focus on collaboration, efficient implementation of health programmes, and strategies to address pressing health issues, aiming to strengthen the delivery of quality healthcare services across Mokokchung.
