A revised edition of “People Stories: Volume One” written by Avinuo Kire and Meneno Vamuzo Rhakho has been published by PenThrill as its 117th publication, with the objective of preserving and documenting Naga oral narratives.

The book is an initiative of the Naga Heritage Centre and features stories gathered from various sources, including history, legends, folktales and traditional teachings. As stated in the introduction, these narratives “contain keys to knowledge of our past, our history, our ecosystem, and the rich intangible cultural heritage.”
The book was first published under the imprint of PenThrill in April 2016 and was formally released by former Chief Minister of Nagaland Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu and former Minister Deo Nukhu.
The revised edition features a new cover incorporating a photograph by Longri Kichu.
