In an effort to raise funds for participating at the annual Mokokchung Inter-Ward Football Tournament, Rongpang Reju of Arkong Ward successfully organized a sales day event featuring locally sourced fresh vegetables. The event took place simultaneously at two locations within Arkong Ward, with one stall situated at Yongpang Market and the other outside Senkalemba Government Middle School.
The President of the organizing group expressed satisfaction with the outcome. According to him, all the vegetables, which included locally sourced tomatoes, chilies, cucumbers, Naga lasoon, mixed vegetables and corn, were sold off during the sales day.
