The Deputy Commissioner of Mokokchung has announced that the road between Rotary Junction and IOC Junction will remain temporarily closed on Sunday, November 30, to facilitate ongoing repair work along the stretch.
According to an official circular issued on Friday, the road will be closed from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM to allow workers to carry out major restoration activities without hindrance.
”During the course of this repair work, there may be inconvenience to vehicular movement and pedestrians. We request all commuters to kindly bear with the temporary disruption and cooperate with the authorities and workers involved,” the circular stated.
Deputy Commissioner Ajit Kumar Verma, IAS, said the repair work aims to improve the road condition for the benefit of all and sought public support during the temporary closure.
