The Rising People’s Party (RPP) expressed its sorrow and condolences on the demise of. Daisy Yaden, wife of Lt. LL Yaden, IAS (Rtd.), and mother of Geoffrey Yaden, Editor of Nagaland Post. Her passing leaves a void in the lives of countless individuals and organizations she touched through her selfless service, RPP said.

“Mrs. Yaden’s remarkable life was characterized by tireless dedication, compassion, and leadership. Her outstanding contributions to social welfare, education, and community development have had a lasting impact on the state of Nagaland. Her commitment to empowering women, children, and marginalized communities inspired a generation of social workers and community leaders,” RPP stated in a condolence message.

Her notable achievements include founding the Nagaland Women’s Welfare Association, establishing the first children’s home in Dimapur, spearheading the literacy program for rural women, and serving as a member of the Nagaland State Commission for Women.

Extending condolences to her family, friends, and loved ones, RPP prayed that God grant comfort and solace to the bereaved family during this difficult time. “May Mrs. Yaden’s soul rest in eternal peace, and may her example continue to inspire us to work towards a better world for all,” it added.

The Press Clubs of Kohima, Dimapur, and Mokokchung have also conveyed their condolences.

“In this moment of immense grief, the Mokokchung Press Club offers its deepest condolences to Geoffrey Yaden and his family. We pray they find unwavering strength and comfort, and may the departed soul rest in eternal peace,” MPC said in its condolence message.

The Dimapur Press Club (DPC) in its condolence message to Yaden and his family prayed that they find strength and solace in God, and that the departed soul rest in perfect peace.

The members of the Kohima Press Club (KPC) said Mrs. Daisy Yaden will be remembered as an extraordinary woman who devoted her life to uplifting the underprivileged and the illiterate in the society.

“The KPC extends its deepest sympathy to the bereaved family. It is our prayer that God will bestow upon them the strength to bear this immense loss,” it added.
