An estimated Rs 379 crore is required to complete the ongoing construction of the New High Court Complex in Meriema, as reported by AIR News Kohima. The project has a total projected value of Rs 541.80 crore. So far, the state government has allocated Rs 162.78 crore for the development of the complex.

Union Minister of State for Law and Justice Arjun Ram Meghwal has assured financial assistance for completion of the long pending New High Court Complex in Meriema. Speaking to media persons from the Complex, Meghwal informed that during his meeting with Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio earlier this morning, they discussed all pending issues concerning the creation of a separate high court for Nagaland, and financial assistance for completion of the High Court Complex in Meriema.

Meanwhile, Rio during his meeting with the Union Minister reiterated the need for release of funds for completion of the long-pending New High Court Complex. “Hopeful for a favorable response from the Ministry to have an efficient justice delivery system in the State,” Rio said.
