Member of Parliament from Nagaland in the Rajya Sabha, S Phangnon Konyak, has been appointed as a Member of the Board of Governors of the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT).
The appointment was made official by the Rajya Sabha Secretariat on 28 November 2025 and approved by CP Radhakrishnan, Chairman of the Rajya Sabha.
The Board of Governors is responsible for the governance of NIFT, which is a premier institute for fashion education in India.
