Village Councils & Students’ Union assures disturbance-free from all groups

 

Wokha, November 2 (MTNews): In an emergency meeting held on Wednesday at Community Hall Sanis between Sanis, Yonchucho, Sunglup, and Lakhuti Village Council Union (SYSL) officials and Lotha Middle Range Students Union (LMRSU), the house reminded the contractor M/S North East Enterprises not to compromise the quality of the Sanis ‘0’ Point to Lakhuti PMGSY Phase-II road and to complete it according to the specifications mentioned in the Detailed Project Report (DPR) since the carpeting of the Sanis ‘0’ Point to Lakhuti PMGSY Phase-II road has begun.

 

The House also reaffirmed its October 29, 2022 resolution, which barred all unions, groups, and individuals from collecting taxes and other forms of pecuniary donations.
Finally, the house assured the contractors that the two unions will not allow any disruptions or hindrances from any group or individual during the carpeting work and vowed to cooperate fully until the work was completed.
