A free medical camp under the “SBI Sanjeevani – Clinic on Wheels” project was successfully conducted at Kiphire Village on October 4, 2025. The initiative, supported by the SBI Foundation as part of its CSR programme “Service Beyond Banking”, was organized by NATURE, the implementing agency in Nagaland.
The mobile clinic, equipped with essential medical and diagnostic facilities, aimed to provide primary healthcare services to rural communities with limited access to medical care.
During the camp, villagers availed doctor consultations, general medicines, laboratory tests, ECG, eye check-up, blood sugar and blood pressure check-ups, and other essential medical services. In addition, awareness sessions on health, hygiene, and sanitation practices were conducted to promote preventive healthcare and well-being among the rural population.
Longtili C Sangtam, the Project Lead Nagaland of SBI Sanjeevani – Clinic on Wheels, expressed gratitude to the SBI Foundation for bringing quality healthcare closer to people’s doorsteps. He emphasized that the project’s mission is to bridge the healthcare gap in remote areas and ensure that every citizen, regardless of location, has access to basic medical services.
He further added, “SBI Sanjeevani is not just a mobile clinic; it is a moving hope — reaching villages, healing lives, and empowering communities through accessible healthcare.” we will be covering 20 Villages in Kiphire.
The medical team also interacted with patients, distributed medicines, and guided them on maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The camp witnessed encouraging participation from the local community, reflecting the growing awareness and trust in mobile health services.
The “SBI Sanjeevani – Clinic on Wheels” project continues to operate across various Villages, working on SBI Foundation’s commitment to improving rural healthcare through compassion and innovation.
