A Specialist Health Camp cum Swachh Bharat Abhiyan initiative was conducted under the SBI Sanjeevani Clinic on Wheels programme at Zisaji Presidency College, Kiphire, on March 3. The programme was organised by Nature SBI Foundation Nagaland with the aim of providing essential healthcare services and promoting sanitation awareness in the district.

The event began with an awareness session chaired by Shangsela, Lab Technician of Nature SBI Foundation, Kiphire. An invocation was pronounced by Sister Atsala, President of the ZPC Evangelical Union. The Vice Principal of Zisaji Presidency College delivered the welcome address and thanked Nature SBI Foundation for extending free health services to the people of Kiphire. He said such initiatives were especially important for remote areas and appreciated Longtili C Sangtam and his team for serving the local community. He also thanked the foundation for the materials provided and assured their effective use.
Dr Zioba Anar conducted a session on the “Importance of Oral Health Education,” highlighting the impact of tobacco on overall health. He warned that Nagaland ranked among the top states in tobacco consumption and said people often realised its dangers only after serious illness. He encouraged students to avoid tobacco and prioritise their health.
Longtili C Sangtam, Project Lead of Nature SBI Foundation Nagaland, shared the programme’s achievements for February 2026, including coverage of 24 villages and services provided to 1,732 beneficiaries. Materials were distributed by the SBI Kiphire Branch Manager.
The programme also included a sanitation drive and an anaemia screening camp for young adults, during which 24 students were screened. The event concluded with active participation from students and faculty members.
