Kohima, 10 November (MTNews): In a recent development, the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Nagaland, has issued a notice to inform all stakeholders that it will be overseeing the procurement of Nagaland Heritage Studies Textbooks for Classes 1-8 and Nagaland Heritage Studies Textbooks (Alternative English) for Classes 5-8 for the Academic year 2024, in accordance with a Government notification.

Private schools intending to incorporate the Nagaland Heritage Studies textbooks into their curriculum have been directed to submit their procurement requirements through SCERT, which serves as the State’s Academic Authority. Importantly, the notice emphasizes that the procurement should not be carried out directly through the publishers.
