Kohima, February 16 (MTNews): Directorate of H&FW has informed to all the students undergoing medical, nursing and paramedical courses that the Common Scholarship Portal for scholarship schemes under the Department of Health & Family Welfare have been going live (active) since January 17, 2023 and will continue till February 17, 2023.
Applicants can access the said portal through the URL: https://scholarship.nagaland.gov.in. It was informed that the Department will accept applications only through the above cited Portal (online) and that applications submitted in Hardcopy to the Directorate will not be entertained and shall be considered as ‘not applied’.
Students and Institutions have also been instructed to go through the guidelines given in the portal before proceeding to fill up the online form.
Further, it was mentioned that students selected through NEET/NSEE/State Departmental Examination only and undergoing the above mentioned courses shall be eligible to apply. Students failing to complete their curriculum within the specified duration of the course (repeaters) shall not be entitled to additional stipend.
The portal shall be closed from February 17 and late application will not be entertained. Students and Institutions have been hereby advised to fill their online application well ahead of the last date to avoid any last minute inconveniences.
