Kohima, 13 March (MTNews): The School Education Department, Nagaland has informed that there are reports of Departmental officials seeking monetary favours in lieu of award of contract works/supply of works/ for transfer/posting/others.
The department has informed in a circular on Wednesday that such practices, if any, are unbecoming of a government servant and are contrary to the Conduct Rules governing employees.
As such, all employees under the establishment of School Education have been cautioned against such practices.
“In case of evidence of prevalence of such practices amongst the employees, disciplinary action shall be initiated under the relevant rules in force,” it said.
