Debutants Sechü Zubza FC secured their place in the final of the NSF Martyrs Memorial Trophy with a narrow 1-0 victory over Asufü Christian Institute in the first semifinal on Wednesday. The decisive goal came from Rhitsho Mero, whose strike in the 17th minute proved enough for Zubza FC to maintain their lead until the final whistle.
Zubza FC dominated the first half, with Asufü taking time to find their rhythm. Former Lajong player Pursunep was a constant threat on the right wing, creating several chances and providing the assist for Mero’s goal.
