The second day of the ongoing Nagaland Police recruitment rally was conducted smoothly across several districts, including Noklak, Zunheboto, Kiphire, and Mon, with candidates undergoing physical, medical, and written tests as part of the multi-day selection process.

At Noklak, the rally was held at the public ground, presided over by Kuhovi Sema, IPS, DIG (Range) Mokokchung. Speaking to the candidates, Sema assured them that the recruitment would be fair and transparent, urging aspirants to cooperate with officials and follow the rules. A total of 1,344 candidates, including 1,127 men and 217 women, are competing for 42 posts, and will undergo physical, medical, and written examinations.
In Zunheboto, candidates with chest numbers 752 to 1,606 were screened at the Police Reserve Ground, DEF Zunheboto. Officials reported that the physical and medical verification tests were conducted orderly and safely, with arrangements in place to ensure transparency.
The Kiphire rally took place at the parade ground of the 14th NAP (IR) Battalion, Okhezung, with candidates KIPSAN0001 to KIPSAN0500 participating in physical and medical assessments. Officials said the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) results will determine eligibility for the written examination, scheduled for January 20, 2026, at Kiphire Town. The recruitment process will continue until January 13, 2026.
At Mon Local Ground, candidates 1001 to 2000 underwent medical checks and PST/PET, including running, high jump, and long jump. Officials noted that the process progressed smoothly and in an orderly manner.
