The festival was inaugurated by Nukshimatong, SDO Civil of Tuli, who commended TAFCFPOL for its consistent work in training and mobilizing farmers. He encouraged the organization to continue strengthening community based fisheries and supporting the growth of fish farming as a reliable source of livelihood.

Throughout the two days, the festival features a range of activities showcasing local initiatives and achievements. Live fish stalls allow visitors to view and purchase fish produced by farmers in the area. Demonstration and information booths provide guidance on post harvest handling, farm management, marketing, packaging, and branding. Technical sessions are designed to help farmers improve skills and apply modern practices to boost productivity and income. A buyer and seller meet is being hosted to build stronger market connections, improve access to consumers, and encourage commercial opportunities for aquaculture products. Local entrepreneurs and self help groups are participating, displaying their products and sharing experiences related to rural enterprise and income generation.

Although World Fish Day is celebrated internationally on 21 November, TAFCFPOL is observing the occasion over two days to encourage participation and provide learning space. The organization sees the festival not only as a celebration of progress but also as a platform to discuss challenges, share experiences, and encourage innovation and collaboration among stakeholders.
