Kohima, 10 September (MTNews): The second session of the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly is set to commence on Monday. During the three-day sitting, discussions will focus on matters of Urgent Public Importance.

 

Other agenda items include obituary references, the question hour, reporting on the Assent to Bills, introduction of Government Bills and Resolutions, laying of Annual Administrative Reports, laying of Reports, Rules, or Regulations, and the presentation of Assembly Committee Reports.

 

There will be a recess on Wednesday.

Notably, the State Government had previously announced that issues related to the Uniform Civil Code, the Forest Conservation Amendment Act 2023, and Urban Local Bodies Elections will be addressed in the scheduled Assembly Session.
