Kohima, February 18 (MTNews): The office of the Chief Electoral Officer, Nagaland today informed that the monetary value of the progressive seizure made by various Enforcement Agencies both Central and State from the date of announcement of General Election to Nagaland Legislative Assembly 2023 till February 17 has reached Rs.43,84,68,620.
The monetary value of the various items seized during the progressive seizure included cash of Rs. 4,06,44,495; IMLF (71334.824 litres) worth Rs. 4,56,98,290; Drugs/Narcotics worth Rs. 31,30,44,530; Precious Metal (Silver-0.02332 Kgs) worth Rs. 1,665; and freebies/other items worth Rs. 3,90,79,640.
The release further stated that the following seizures were made on 17 February: cash Rs.9,90,530; liquor (122.415 ltrs) worth Rs. 98,840; drugs/narcotics seized worth Rs. 45,71,000; freebies and other items worth Rs.4,32,080. The total monetary value of the items seized on Friday came to Rs. 60,92,450.
