Kohima, February 13 (MTNews): The office of the Chief Electoral Officer, Nagaland today informed that the monetary value of the progressive seizure made by various Enforcement Agencies both Central and State from the date of announcement of General Election to Nagaland Legislative Assembly 2023 till February 12 is Rs.36,99,56,169.882.
The monetary value of the various items seized during the progressive seizure included cash of Rs. 2,84,52,365; IMLF (40925.65 Liters) worth Rs. 4,26,40,420; Drugs/Narcotics (3.06 Kgs) worth Rs Rs. 26,36,80,380; Precious Metal (Silver-0.02332 Kgs) worth Rs. 1,664.882; and freebies/other items worth Rs. 3,51,81,340.
The release further stated that the following seizures were made on 12 February: Cash Rs Rs.5,00,000; and liquor (1211.05 ltrs) worth Rs. 3,53,630.
The total monetary value of the items seized on Sunday came to Rs. 8,53,630.
