Kohima, February 10 (MTNews): The office of the Chief Electoral Officer, Nagaland today informed that the monetary value of the progressive seizure made by various Enforcement Agencies both Central and State from the date of announcement of General Election to Nagaland Legislative Assembly 2023 till 9 February is Rs.35,60,60,600.
The monetary value of the various items seized during the progressive seizure included cash of Rs 2,71,00,670; IMLF (40925.65 Litres) worth Rs 3,72,11,428; Drugs/Narcotics (3.06 Kgs) worth Rs 25,70,72,230; and freebies/other items worth Rs 3,46,76,272.
The release further stated that the following seizures were made on 9 February: Cash Rs 10477220; liquor (1180.02 ltrs) worth Rs 12, 62, 600; drugs/narcotics worth Rs 4, 66,600.
The total monetary value of the items seized on Thursday came to Rs 1,14,27,070.
