The Senior Women’s Inter Zonal T20 Trophy 2025 saw a day of dominant performances as West Zone, North Zone, and Central Zone registered convincing victories in their respective matches at the Nagaland Cricket Stadium and Sovima Cricket Ground.
At Sovima Cricket Ground, West Zone overpowered North East Zone by 126 runs. K P Navgire produced a stunning century, scoring 112 off 58 balls to help her team post 201 for 4 in 20 overs. A A Patil added an unbeaten 44 off 28 balls. North East Zone faltered in their chase, managing only 75 for 8, with D D Dutta scoring 23 runs. Patil also shone with the ball, taking 2 for 13, while Navgire was named Player of the Match.
At the Nagaland Cricket Stadium, North Zone crushed South Zone by 96 runs. Batting first, North Zone made 152 for 5, with Deeya Yadav anchoring the innings with 67 off 47 balls. South Zone were dismissed for 56 in 14.3 overs as Amandeep Kaur (3/9), Nazma (2/10), and Mannat Kashyap (2/14) shared the spoils.
In another fixture at the same venue, Central Zone defeated East Zone by 40 runs. D. D. Kasat top-scored with 49 off 42 to guide Central Zone to 148 for 5, before Vaishnavi Sharma’s 4 for 20 bowled East Zone out for 108.
The tournament continues on November 6, with West Zone facing North Zone at Sovima Cricket Ground, while East Zone meets North East Zone and Central Zone takes on South Zone at the Nagaland Cricket Stadium.
