The Government of Nagaland has appointed Sentiyanger Imchen, IAS (NL:1991), as the new Chief Secretary of Nagaland with effect from August 1, 2025.
An official notification issued by the state government on July 30 stated that the appointment has been made in the interest of public service. Imchen, who is currently serving as Additional Chief Secretary and Finance Commissioner, will take charge following the superannuation of the incumbent Chief Secretary, Dr J Alam, IAS, on July 31, 2025.
The order was issued by Dr J Alam, Chief Secretary to the Government of Nagaland.
