The Department of Sericulture, Nagaland, has announced the formation of the Sericulture Board Nagaland (SBN). This newly constituted board comprises officials from various fields, with Henhkohao Singsong, Commissioner & Secretary, appointed as the Chairman.
The other members include Pukhaxu Jhimo, Advisor (HMCSL)/UDA, NO (Evl), who will serve as Secretary, and Shameek Deb, a civil engineer, as a member. Nito John Lohe Sumi, Director (FPO), Neitho Kense, a social worker and NGO representative, and Hekuto, HMCSL/CBBO Program Coordinator, have also been appointed as members. Additionally, Arpita Dhar, a legal consultant and company secretary, has been named a member of the board.
