The Seventh Session of the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly was adjourned sine die by Speaker Sharingain Longkumer on 4th September 2025.
Expressing his gratitude, Longkumer thanked all members for their “cooperation in maintaining the decorum, the sanctity of the house and efficiency of the proceedings.” He expressed hope that members would continue to uphold democratic values through constructive engagement in the future.
The Speaker also extended appreciation to the Chief Secretary and his team of officials, the Director General of Police, and security personnel for their “invaluable assistance in ensuring the smooth conduct of the house proceedings.”
Longkumer further acknowledged the media fraternity for their role in “disseminating the proceedings of the house to their people.”
With these remarks, the Speaker formally adjourned the Seventh Session of the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly sine die.
