Sevonyi Keyho was unanimously elected chairman to lead the Chozuba Town Council during the formation of the Town Council program held at the ADC Office Chozuba on Wednesday.

Vezota Rhakho was elected deputy chairperson. The program was chaired by ADC Chozuba, Dr. Diana Patton NCS, and Deputy Commissioner John Tsulise Sangtam, who gave the introductory speech and conducted the election of the chairman and deputy chairman as per the formality.
The 36-year-old Keyho is also the general secretary for the NDPP Youth Organization 18 Chozuba A/C. Earlier, the Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party took stock of the situation and submitted their claim of majority to form the council with seven candidates to ADC. During the ceremony, the council unanimously elected Keyho as chairman.
After being elected chairman, Sevonyi Keyho expressed his gratitude to the general public and the administration for the smooth and successful completion of the ULB. He further appealed to all stakeholders of Chozuba Town for their cooperation and support in developing the community.
He also acknowledged Advisor CAWD and Taxes Kudecho Khamo for his concern and support in uplifting the town. Additionally, he appreciated all the party rank and file of the NDPP 18 AC Chozuba for their sacrifice and services rendered during the election.
