A team comprising officials from the Seyochung Area Students’ Union (SASU), the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) of Seyochung, and the Medical Officer conducted a spot verification of the newly constructed Community Health Centre (CHC) in Seyochung Town on Wednesday.
The CHC, which was completed in 2023, was inspected following concerns regarding the condition of the building. The verification was followed by a brief meeting involving all stakeholders present.
During the meeting, SASU officials, along with the ADC and Medical Officer, unanimously decided that the CHC will not be approved for inauguration unless the National Buildings Construction Corporation (India) Limited (NBCC) or the concerned contractors undertake necessary renovation works to address the observed deficiencies.
