Shamator, August 8 (MTNews): Thousands gathered to celebrate of Metümnyo Festival, the premier festival of the Yimkhiung community at Shamator headquarters, the newest district in Nagaland with Deputy Commissioner Shamator, Thsuvisie Phoji as the special guest and Yanba Showuba as the Host at the Local Ground, Shamator.
The festival was organized by Thüneo (Festival) Committee, Shamator Town. The program was also blessed with SP Shamator, Amit Kumar IPS, and a host of officers. President Yimkhiung Tribal Council, S. Throngso invoked the festival blessings and delivered the Metümnyo greetings.
