Kohima, 19 March (MTNews): The Nagaland Legislative Assembly Secretariat has informed that it has received only one nomination till the last date and time for filing of nomination papers for the post of Speaker of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly.
It was informed that Sharingain Longkumer, Member of the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly, filed his nomination for the post of Speaker on 18 March, 2023 where his candidature was proposed by Minister, Temjen Imna Along and seconded by Advisor, Kekhrielhoulie Yhome.
No withdrawals were also made till the expiry of the date and time for withdrawals.
