Dimapur, November 9 (MTNews): Shooters M Tiatemjen Jamir and Kilenkala Temsukaba Longkumer have been selected to represent Nagaland at the 65th National Shooting Championship Competitions (NSCC) 2022, which will be held at Vattiyoorkkavu Shooting Range in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. According to a press release from Merang Jamir, President of Nagaland Rifle Association, they will compete in the small bore rifle events.
M Tiatemjen Jamir (10 M Air Rifle Men) and Kilenkala Temsukaba Longkumer (10 M Air Rifle Women Walther) have been permitted to carry FWB 16837921 & Walther 42642 Air weapons respectively and one tin of pellets each from Dimapur to Kerala and back by Air, Train and Road for the event which will take place from November 20 to December 9, 2022. This has been authorized by the rules & regulations of National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) Match Book 2022 (Amended).
The shooters shall have S Limawapang Jamir as Team Manager and Aleno Punyu as Assistant Team Manager.
