The Spearhead Motorsport Initiative will be hosting the fifth edition of Throttle Thrust at Ungma Village, Mokokchung on 3 & 4 November, 2023. Throttle Thrust is an annual motorsport event of Team Spearhead and is making a comeback after a three-year hiatus, the last being held in 2019.
Throttle Thrust V is set to be a fitting tribute to Late Imtimayang Jamir. “This year’s edition of Throttle Thrust V is organized in memory of Late. Imtimayang Jamir, an esteemed member of the team,” stated the convener of Throttle Thrust V, B Lima Longkumer.
Throttle Thrust V will be featuring a super-sprint and hill climb format that will undoubtedly keep the adrenaline pumping.
The race will offer participants three categories: Below 1300 cc, SUV, and Open Category, with a prize pool of up to Rs 3.5 lakhs.
Stag Global has taken on the role of title sponsor for Throttle Thrust V while Nagaland Mineral and Mines will be the platinum sponsor.
Registration for the event will be held on 2 November starting from 10:00 am onwards at the Tourist Centre, Ungma Village, Mokokchung.
