A Special Health Camp on anemia screening has been conducted on April 6 at Pungro CHC under Kiphire district, Nagaland. The programme was organised by SBI Foundation Nagaland under its SBI Sanjeevani Clinic on Wheels initiative.

The camp began at 9:00 AM and offered services including anemia screening, general health check-ups, diabetes screening, doctor consultations, and laboratory tests. Tests included ABO grouping, HIV, haemoglobin, random blood sugar, scrub typhus, and malaria screening.
The medical team was led by Dr Siku of Pungro CHC and Dr. Lillio from SBI Foundation, supported by nurses and technicians. A total of 132 beneficiaries attended, with 17 undergoing laboratory tests.
Longtili C Sangtam, Project Lead, thanked Pungro CHC and International Border Area People’s Welfare Organisation led by N. Apong for community mobilisation. He noted that in March, 1,416 beneficiaries were served.
N Apong stated that patients received free medicines, ensuring improved healthcare access in the area.
