Mokokchung, June 18 (MTNews): Advisor for School Education and SCERT, K.T Sukhalu said on Saturday that the state government is willing to set up more government higher secondary schools as long as the enrollment is up to the mark with good exam results. He said this while inaugurating Government Higher Secondary School, Pughoboto which was upgraded from High School.
MLA Y Vikheho Swu spoke on how the upgradation was initiated and urged landowners not to hamper development activities and also requested the Department to restore the downgraded GHS under the Pughoboto subdivision.
Principal Director of School Education, Thavaseelan K said several challenges and issues in the department are being resolved on a timeline and asked stakeholders to extend support for multiple project improvement for the school teachers and other mission components.
Director for School Education, Nagaland, Wonthungo Tsopoe requested public support by saying that the School Education Department cannot survive without public support.
