Mokokchung, September 2 (MTNews): A state-level Academic and Administrative Audit (AAA) team from the Department of Higher Education paid a visit to C-Edge College, Naga United Village, Dimapur on August 31, 2022
The team was headed by Dr. Watijungshi, Retd. Addl. Director, Higher Education as Convenor heacded the team, and members included Addl. Director, Higher Education Dr. Lily Sema and Deputy Director of Higher Education Dr. Medongoi Rhakho.
The aim of the audit was to monitor and support the quality of the college’s academic & administrative system.
The audit began with a meeting with the college’s principal, Dr. Chubatola Aier, who provided a detailed PowerPoint presentation. This was followed by a meeting with IQAC members, during which IQAC Coordinator Ms. Wapanginla Ao highlighted the NAAC seven quality criteria and the college’s efforts to improve them through a comprehensive PowerPoint presentation. The audit continued with a meeting with each of the departments, during which the Head of the Departments presented the complete report.
The team then interacted with the C-Edge College Students Forum (CECSF) Leaders along with some of the students, and staff separately. The team made physical verification of the accounts and establishment sections followed by a meeting with the Librarians & Library Committee which was then followed by verification of books and journals, ICT facilities, classrooms, auditorium and other amenities and facilities.
An exit meeting was held with the principal, IQAC members, HoDs, and staff members, where the team provided key remarks and suggestions for improvement. The principal C-Edge College delivered a note of gratitude to the team. The event ended with a report produced by the AAA team.
