The Zunheboto Inter-Collegiate Evangelical Union (ZICEU) successfully conducted its Discipleship Training Camp from October 10-12 at Natha New Baptist Church, themed “You Are Chosen,” based on John 15:16.


The camp saw participation from 63 campers across seven institutions, including Kheloshe Polytechnic Asukhuto, Zunheboto Government College, Bloomfield School, Cornerstone School, Immanuel School, Olympic School, and Government Higher Secondary School Zunheboto.

Camp Director Livito Zhimo, President of ZICEU, and Avika V Tissica, Secretary of ZICEU, expressed their satisfaction with the turnout and the engagement of participants. The sessions featured esteemed speakers Dr Tokugha Rochill and Newtoli Yeptho, both Senior Advisors of the Evangelical Fellowship of India (EGF). Yeptho addressed the challenges and influences of the digital world, while Dr Rochill provided an in-depth exploration of the camp’s theme.

Additional activities included an introductory Bible study led by Toli Chophy, UESI Staff Worker in Zunheboto. Dr. Vinoto Aye, EGF President, Tolibo Awomi, EGF Treasurer, and Ghukatoli Sumi from Immanuel Hr. Sec. School discussed the UESI Handbook, emphasizing the importance of scriptural guidance.

The camp also featured practical discussions led by Everkali W. Achumi, Newtoli Yeptho, and Dr. Vinolika Zhimomi. Doctrinal sessions were conducted by Ghunato Assumi, Associate Pastor of SBCZ, Vilibo Yeptho, Assistant Professor, NTC, and Hilotoli Aye, Associate Pastor, South Point West Colony. Quiet time sessions were facilitated by Tunavi Assumi and Kitheli Jakha, EGF Prayer Secretary, allowing campers to reflect and meditate.

The camp concluded with positive feedback from participants, who expressed gratitude for the spiritual growth and community bonding experienced throughout the event, an update from Tokavi K Zhimo said.
