Zunheboto, 4 April (MTNews): The Sümi Hoho has mandated that “Sütsa” be included as a Modern Indian Language (MIL) in all Higher Secondary Schools across Sümi-inhabited areas of Nagaland.

The Sümi Hoho resolved this in its Executive Meeting convened on 27 March 2024, at Sümi Hoho Ki, Zunheboto, after deliberating upon the agenda presented by the Sümi Literature Board (SLB).

Further, the Sümi Hoho also resolved that, “In Government Higher Secondary Schools, until the Government of Nagaland appoints regular MIL teachers, the Sümi Literature Board (SLB) shall appoint and assume responsibility for their salaries.”
