The Seyochung Village Students’ Union (SVSU) and the Youth Ministry of Seyochung Village Baptist Lithro visited Government High School, Seyochung Village, and St. Mary’s High School, Seyochung Town, as part of their initiative to promote local literature and support student welfare.


During their visit to Government High School, the delegation donated books on Sangtam Naga literature and works by native authors, aiming to introduce students to indigenous writers and preserve local heritage. In addition, they provided a first-aid kit, including sanitary pads for girl students. Longtili C Sangtam expressed appreciation for the school’s successful implementation of the Nagaland Heritage (Sangtam) program and encouraged the headmaster to schedule regular sessions with the Youth Pastor, who volunteered to contribute to the initiative.

Later in the afternoon, the SVSU team visited St. Mary’s High School, Seyochung Town, where they donated books to enrich the school library and encourage a reading culture among students.

Longtili C Sangtam praised the school for its academic excellence and urged faculty members and students to maintain their high standards.
