Following the national and state-level launch of the Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan (SNSPA), district-level campaigns were organized in Mokokchung today, aiming to strengthen women and child health across Nagaland under the theme “Healthy Women, Empowered Families.”
Ajit Kumar Verma, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, officially launched the campaign at IMDH Mokokchung. Delivering a short address, he said SNSPA is India’s largest ever health campaign for women and children, designed to reshape the health system and build a better future. He applauded the performance of the Department of Health & Family Welfare and the Department of Social Welfare in the district, noting that the campaign provides an opportunity for various departments to come together and reach the most remote communities.
