The District Health Society, Peren, conducted the Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan at Old Ngaulong and Bamsiakelwa on 29th September 2025.
The initiative aimed to promote women’s health, strengthen family well-being, and raise awareness on preventive healthcare.
Health services and medicines were provided free of cost to all patients. The special camp attended to 56 patients, which included 43 NCD screenings, 50 TB screenings, 6 Hb tests, 6 child immunizations, and 2 ANC check-ups.
Awareness sessions on nutrition, hygiene, and women’s health were also conducted to encourage healthy practices at the community level. Free IEC materials were distributed to participants.
