Sikkim registered a comfortable seven wicket win over Nagaland in their Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2025-26 match at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium on Saturday.

Nagaland opted to bat after winning the toss but were restricted to 101 in 19 overs. Dega Nischal top scored with 33 off 26 balls, while Chetan Bist made 30 off 32. Hem Chetri added 12, and no other batter reached double figures.

Sikkim’s bowling attack was led by Gurinder Singh, who finished with 4 for 14 from four overs. Palzor Tamang took 2 for 9, and Kranthi Kumar claimed 2 for 9.

Chasing 102, Sikkim reached 105 for 3 in 12.4 overs. Sai Satwik anchored the innings with an unbeaten 44 off 34 balls, supported by Kranthi Kumar with 36 off 26. Amit Rajera contributed 16 off 8.

For Nagaland, wickets were taken by Akavi Yeptho with 1 for 15, Dip Borah with 1 for 24, and Imliwati Lemtur with 1 for 30.

Sikkim completed the chase with 44 balls to spare.
