Fulfilling a promise he had earlier made, Tepuleho Pusa has donated land measuring 100 feet by 100 feet at Manglumukh Village under Chümoukedima district to the 30th NWA Naga Traditional Wrestling Champion 2026 (Kezhaseluo-o Pienyü), Angami Sports Association (ASA) Wrestling Champion 2026 (Kezhaseluo-o Pienyü) and Southern Angami Sports Association (SASA) Wrestling Champion 2026 (Atuo Tevo). The land was formally handed over on March 14 at Chümoukedima.

According to the NWA Media Cell, Pusa had earlier donated a similar plot of land to Viswema Youth Organization Wrestling Champion 2026, Kevime Vitsu.

The formal handover of the plots was carried out in the presence of office bearers of the Nagaland Wrestling Association (NWA), Angami Sports Association (ASA), Southern Angami Sports Association (SASA) and Chakhesang Wrestling Association (CWA), along with elders and leaders from the champions’ respective villages.

Addressing the gathering, NWA President Vivolie Kezo appealed to the champions not to sell the donated land but to live together in harmony as good neighbours. He also acknowledged and thanked the donor for his generous contribution.

During the programme, Pusa also declared the area as Miavimia Badze.

The act of generosity, according to the NWA, reflects deep admiration and appreciation for the indigenous sport and aims to encourage young and upcoming wrestlers. In another gesture, Pusa donated a plot of land of the same size to two-time NWA Champion Venuzo Dawhuo in recognition of his achievements in Naga wrestling.

The Nagaland Wrestling Association expressed gratitude for what it described as a significant gesture of patronage toward the sport, expressing hope that the recipients would utilize the donated land responsibly. The association also conveyed its best wishes to Tepuleho Pusa and his family.
