The Local Colors, with the support of the Task Force for Music & Arts (TaFMA), Government of Nagaland, is presenting ‘Terra Verde’, an immersive art exhibition dedicated to celebrating the beauty of the earth and its landscapes.

One of the art works to be exhibited at the forthcoming art exhibition in Kohima

This highly anticipated exhibition will take place at the Centre of Excellence for Music and Arts (CEMA), Minister’s Hill, Kohima, from February 25 to 28, 2025.

‘Terra Verde,’ which translates to ‘Green Earth,’ is a tribute to the natural world, showcasing the artistic expressions of talented local artists who bring to life the scenic landscapes, rich biodiversity, and cultural essence of the land. Through paintings, mixed media, and visual installations, the exhibition will highlight the intrinsic connection between art and nature.

Local Colors, known for promoting artistry, has carefully curated this exhibition to provide a platform for artists to share their perspectives on environmental beauty and conservation. The support of TaFMA further strengthens the initiative, fostering the growth of art and culture in the state.

The exhibition will be open to the public, offering art enthusiasts, nature lovers, and the general audience an opportunity to explore and appreciate the artistic interpretations of local landscapes. Additionally, artworks on display will be available for sale, allowing visitors to take home a piece of this creative celebration.

Anthony Ngullie, Secretary, Youth Resources & Sports Department, will grace the inaugural programme as the special guest.

The exhibition will be open from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
