Nagaland’s Advisor for CAWD and Taxes, Kudecho Khamo, has inaugurated The Jewels Academy at Hozheto Bari, Kushaibil, in Dimapur on Monday.
Addressing the programme, he congratulated Founding Chairman Rev. Zaseyi Veswuh and said the institution will benefit not only a community but the people of Dimapur and Nagaland. Emphasising the need to develop Nagaland as an educational hub, he stressed academic excellence along with skill and value-based education to retain students and attract others.
Khamo noted the significant role of private schools in nurturing future leaders and observed that many are now on par with institutions across the country. He added that the government is working to improve infrastructure and teacher quality, but stakeholder support remains vital.
Stressing faith-based education, he said true learning must shape both mind and character. He expressed hope that the academy will grow into a centre of excellence serving God and society.
