Mokokchung, October 23 (MTNews): President of Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee and former Finance Minister, Government of Nagaland, Kewekhape Therie said that Nagaland is the only Indian state where the ”banks and other financial groups” do not provide educational loan due to its “horrific government.”
He said this while speaking as the chief guest at the Nagaland Exotic Model Hunt (Season – 3) organized by The Blue Curves, on Thursday.
Therie also slammed the government for not providing “good health aid” to the older generations and accused the government of Nagaland for only looking after their “party workers.”
Therie also challenged the youth to “throw me out” if he does not perform well just like they will do with the ruling party.
“No one should practice the habit of proxy voting in elections or any place where you commit the biggest crime of over-passing others’ votes,” he said.
“The people of Nagaland have the right to enjoy the benefits of a good economy, filtered water supply, uninterrupted power supply, good roads,” he stated.
Therie while mentioning that he has been a politician for seventeen years said that he sees the youths as “nation’s treasure” and that he finds The Blue Curve very “active and functional” in the state.
“You have dreams and visions. What do we mean by dreams? If we are to make our dreams reality, we have to believe in God and ourselves. Your dream is your objective. A person carrying many dreams doesn’t succeed, but if one has one particular dream, it can be successful,” he said.
