Mokokchung, 15 February (MTNews): The Power Department has informed all consumers under Mokokchung Transmission Division that there will be total shutdown of 132kV Transmission Lines on 17 and 18 February 2024 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The total shutdown will affect the districts of Mokokchung, Tuensang, Zunheboto, Longleng and Mon.
Executive Engineer, Transmission Division, Mokokchung Er Hekaito Assumi informed that the shutdown is necessitated for annual maintenance works at 220/132 kV power grid, Settsu and 132/66/33kV Mokokchung Sub-stations.
The department appealed to all public to extend cooperation and bear with the inconvenience during the shutdown period.
