Dimapur, February 16 (MTNews): The BJP candidate of 1 Dimapur-I AC, H Tovihoto Ayemi held election campaign meetings in Ward No. 7 and 8 on Thursday evening and addressed the electorates of Xuvihe, Sema Tilla, West Yard, Lower & Upper Manipuri and Railway/Netaji colonies.
Addressing the huge gathering at two places, he outlined the strong commitment of the Bharatiya Janata Party and its vision for Nagaland- the vision of BJP to take Nagaland forward in terms of development and progress.
Referring to the election manifesto of the BJP for Nagaland election 2023, Tovihoto highlighted the BJP’s initiative for women welfare to provide free-of-cost, quality education to all female students from Kindergarten to Post Graduate, a bond of Rs. 50,000 to be provided on the birth of a girl child and a free scooty to meritorious college-going female students in the state.
Tovihoto also stressed on the BJP’s sincere commitment to preserve the rich Naga identity and culture with an investment of Rs. 1,000 crores besides other investments for the same.
He also highlighted the special package for inclusive development of eastern Nagaland and added welfare schemes for old-age pensioners, welfare schemes for farmers and agricultural sector, Tovihoto assured the public that the people of Nagaland will reap maximum benefit by voting BJP to power.
He said that the BJP-NDPP alliance is rock solid and shall further work for the development of Nagaland.
