Kohima, November 26 (MTNews): The Hornbill Festival, India’s largest music festival, will be held in Nagaland for the 23rd time. This year’s Hornbill Music Festival will take place at Kisama Amphitheatre and will feature 24 bands from across the country, including Tiny Fingers from Israel.
In a press conference held today at RCEMPA Jotsoma, Advisor to Chief Minister Nagaland, Abu Metha announced that Toyota has come forward in partnering with the Hornbill Music Festival. He stated that with 24 bands participating over ten days and partnerships with global brands such as Toyota, it will become “bigger and louder” in addition to other key partnerships and collaborations with TATA Steel Foundation’s Samvaad Festival, Yes Bank, Rolling Stones, and others.
Metha also mentioned that TAFMA will be launching a ‘Festival outreach program’ in collaboration with JK Trust Raymond, Mumbai for the first time to reach out to the underprivileged. Metha also encouraged everyone to participate in the festival, saying that it is a platform for people to unify.
Hogukha Yeptho, CEO of Okusa Toyota, announced that Masakazu Yoshimura, Managing Director of Toyota Kirloskar Motors India, and Vikram Kirloskar, Vice-Chairman of Toyota India, will launch the Hornbill Music Festival on December 2.
