The Adventure and Motorsports Association Mokokchung (AMAM) will be organizing the annual Night Carnival in Mokokchung Town from 12th to 14th December, 2024. The carnival will take place between Main Police Point and Rotary Junction from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM.
To facilitate the event, Additional Superintendent of Police & PRO, Mokokchung, has informed that traffic regulations will be in place on the mentioned dates between 5:30 PM and 9:30 PM.
As per the traffic regulations, vehicles coming from Amguri, Mokokchung Village, and Hospital Road will be diverted towards Town Hall and Longkumer Kilem (Gas Agency). There will be no entry from Main Police Point to Rotary Junction, and, similarly, vehicles will not be allowed from New Market to Longkumer Kilem (Gas Agency) or from Yongpang Market towards DC Hill/SBI Main Branch.
Additionally, parking of vehicles will not be allowed from Main Police Point to Rotary Junction.
However, vehicles will be allowed one-way entry from Rotary Junction to Main Police Point. Ambulances and other emergency vehicles will be exempt from these traffic regulations.
