Mokokchung, June 15 (MTNews): A two-day training on Drugs and Vaccine Distribution Management System(DVDMS)and Equipment Maintenance and Management System (EMMS) for Pharmacists, LDAs, Nurses and Block Extension Educator (BEE) was held on 15th and 16th of June 2022 at the Conference Hall of the Chief Medical Officers office, Mokokchung.
Er. R. Robert Suohu, Data Analyst (NHP) and Er. Imtisunep Aier Data Analyst (NHP) from the Directorate of Health and Family Welfare, Kohima were the resource persons who imparted through PowerPoint different topics on DVDMS and EMMS which was followed by practical session.
The participants were trained on DVDMS and EMMS which is a software platform with details of drugs and vaccine supply chain management system that deals in purchase, supply and management of various drugs and equipment distribution. It aims to provide seamless, accessible and live reporting of drugs, vaccine and other required items at the health centers by the employees/personnel.
Addressing the gathering Dr. R Chubala Aier, CMO, Mokokchung thanked and welcomed all the participants and the resource persons from the DH&FW, Kohima and encouraged the participants to learn from the training and deliver quality service at their respective Health centers.
