Kohima, 15 January (MTNews): In light of the increase in the prices of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) and all other commodities, the Department of Transport, Nagaland, has announced the revision of existing fare rates/hiring charges for all services provided by NST Bus.
Categories and revised rates are as follows:
For long-distance hiring beyond a 40 km radius, the fare rate applies as per the respective category above. Local hiring charges within a 40 km radius of the Stations/Sub-Stations are as follows: (a) Up to 12 hrs: Rs. 6,000; and (b) Beyond 12 hrs, up to 24 hrs: Rs. 5,000 will be charged.
