The Rengma Selo Zi (RSZ) team, led by newly elected president Kegwayhun Tep, visited several government departments in Tseminyu district. Their primary goal was to discuss the concerning issue of drug abuse and explore solutions with the district administration, police personnel, and medical officers. This aligns with the RSZ’s commitment to a “Drug-Free District,” echoing the state government’s “war on drugs” initiative.

The team began their visit by meeting with the Deputy Commissioner of Tseminyu. They explained their purpose and stressed the importance of dedicated public service from all officers and department heads in the district.

Next, they met with the Superintendent of Police (SP), Tseminyu. They had a productive conversation, where the SP shared valuable ideas for the district’s youth. The RSZ team also learned about the SP’s plans to organize a program/seminar that aligns with their mission.

The final stop was the CHC Tseminyu, where they met with Medical Officer Ayush in the absence of the SMO. The MO Ayush offered valuable insights into the CHC’s needs. The RSZ team reiterated their commitment to supporting the CHC and making it a model hospital. They pledged to collaborate with the medical community in Tseminyu to ensure the best possible service delivery to the public.
